Ambulance-3
A-3 is our brand new 1st out ALS unit at station 1. It is a 2008 Med-Tec type-1 on a Ford F-350 Super Duty. It is equipped with a Garmin GPS navigation system, XM Satellite radio, and all the equipment required of an ALS ambulance in Montana. A-3 is our first ambulance with LED lights which flash bright enough to be seen miles away. A-3 also comes equipped with a completely different set-up than our other units, giving us extra space outside as well as inside. The most visible part of A-3 is its new stripping. The back has modern chevrons making us very visible from the rear keeping our crews safer during dark hours. A-3 also offers a fold down child's safety seat set into the captains chair which is a new feature not available in our other ambulances. A-3 has been a great new addition to our fleet which staff members are very excited about.
